We are very excited to be hosting the 2021 AusCycling Mountain Bike National Championships at Maydena Bike Park. Scheduled from March 9th-14th, we have put together an awesome weekend on the hill!

With racing having been put on hold for the last few months we have put together a stacked 9-day event program to include all the traditional National Champs events, but also some signature Maydena Bike Park events to round out the week.

Events include: Maydena Gravity Enduro, XCR, XCC, XCO, King and Queen of the Mountain, Trials, Pump Track and DHI

Event dates: March 9th – 14th, 2021

Should you have any questions you can reach us via email at [email protected] or call us at 1300 399 664.

Summit gourmet BBQ: Enjoy a feast 1,100m above sea level with a 360 degree view looking over the Southwest Wilderness.

King / Queen of the Mountain: Racers will have a dedicated start and finish at the top and bottom of the mountain, after that it is all up to you. With over 65 trails to choose from, racers will need to find the best combination of trails for their riding style to find the quickest route down the mountain.

Dirt Jump Sessions: New to Maydena Bike Park this year will be the Dirt Jump Zone. With beginner to advanced lines, don’t forget to bring your dirt jumper! You can register for sessions on the pro line at Guest Services.

There are a few options for transport from Hobart Airport. Rental cars or shuttles to the park are the most commonly used options.

You can view our preferred partners for shuttles and hire vehicles to the park HERE and you can check out GETTING HERE page.

If you are riding the week leading up to the event, the best bang for buck pass option is the multi-day passes for the uplift service. All event entries will include a mountain pass that allows riders access to the climbing trail network for the duration of the event.

DH Uplift

DHI entry includes shuttles for Saturday and Sunday only. The DH tracks is open from Wednesday so a 3-day pass is your best bet to get practice on every day the track is open.

Multi-day passes can be booked HERE.

We will have qualified bike mechanics available all weekend for the event. As well as most replacement parts available in the shop.

If you require special or boutique parts, namely brake pads, please bring spare parts as we may not have all the various brands.
