I can 100% verify that this trail scared the living crap out of me a couple of weeks ago. So much skill required...but made it so much fun.

Looks sensational and planning a trip early next year. Although I hope by then beers are served in a glass and not a plastic cup.

Tomorrow’s uplift is sold out, but we still have some room for Sunday.
-
Heads up that next weekend is also filling up fast and expected to sell out, so nab a booking soon if you plan to join us.

Wet weather 💦
-
With some unseasonal wet weather this week, we wanted to share again our weather policies and procedures.
-
Our park will operate in just about any weather- if we close the park due to weather, all riders will be offered a re-book or refund. Unfortunately we aren’t able to offer refunds or date changes within 72hrs of a booking- major changes in numbers inside this period aren’t viable for our staffing and operational planning.
-
When conditions are damp we suggest sticking to the eastern side of our park (start with Pandani Trail). Eastern trails after the first trail section are generally amazing in wet conditions as they are drier and sandier.
-
So, when it’s a bit damp, saddle up and get out and enjoy it! Our trail maintenance team is on top of any weather-related damage, so you can enjoy shredding without the guilt. Maydena is not generally that wet, but after all our trails are located in a rainforest!
-
Heading into the next few days and early next week we are expecting drier weather and tacky trails!

What a joke (maydena not that wet). First time I've heard that one. Laughing that hard I've got tears, no wait it's rain. 😅😅😅😅

Maydena can get pretty wet, last year total rain was 1043.7mm and the average is 1164.4mm. Will make for some great, fast muddy rides.

In the forest now, until the blokes that funded the park, decide to log the sh&t out of it, damaging the MTB and tourism industry substantially.

It wasn’t that long ago that it would rain 6 months of the year and drip off the trees the other 6. Awesome job with the park.

Such a good policy. Rotorua needs to keep the local enduro races (2W )to that same policy so everyone else doesn’t loose out.
