NEW TRAILS IN PLACE
SLALOM RACING
Slalom Jam is a new format of Dual Slalom racing that delivers a fun-focused race environment, without the significant waiting around found at a typical slalom event. Racers will have 2hr of open jam format course time, with the ability to set as many times on each course lane as they wish, ‘racing’ whoever they like over the jam period. At the end of the jam period, the fastest two racers in each category will move into a Super Final, with one lane on each course, and the combined time taking the category win!
Slalom racing will take part on 31st Dec from 3pm – 5pm, followed by the Super Final from 5pm-6pm.
LIVE MUSIC
KEEP THE VIBES
From 7pm 31st Dec we’re turning up the volume with LIVE music sessions to keep the stoke high and party into new years. After finishing laps from the day or slalom racing, roll into the Maydena Base for a feed, a few cold ones, and good times with the crew.
SHOW US YA TRICKS
JUMP JAM
Join us for an evening of whips as riders do their best to impress. Held Jan 1 from 5pm, the Jump Jam is a FREE event (participants require a Mountain Pass) and show the crowd your best tricks!

The Summit Sunset Aprés is the perfect way to wrap up your day in Tasmania’s Southwest. Enjoy local food and refreshments from our partners as the sun sets over alpine views across the stunning Tasmanian Wilderness.

You can purchase 3 hrs of extra uplifts. For $60 you can get 3 extra hours of riding from 4PM – 7PM, this is a great way to kick off your New Year weekend!
We will also be hosting the Phat Friday Race Series! Featuring an intermediate option. Knock off work early and join us for some laid back summer racing.
Racers pay $20 to enter the race, $10 of this amount will go back to the podium for your selected age category. (5 riders = $50 prize pool)
