DAY OF MIDLINE OR SUMMIT LAPS?
SUMMIT UPLIFT DAY PASSES
Our Summit Uplift day passes give unlimited laps during operating hours to our Midline and Summit trailheads. So you have the freedom to explore our large network of trails and find your favourite way down. We highly recommend booking your uplifts to avoid missing out, even during off-peak periods we often sell out.
All riders require a separate Mountain Pass when booking Uplifts. Mountain Passes are available as single day, one week or annual passes. Mountain Pass not included with our Uplift service and must be purchased for each rider.
FIRST SUMMIT LAP OR AFTER MORE TRAIL RIDING?
SINGLE SUMMIT UPLIFT
This single uplift option is a great way to experience our upper mountain trail network for the first time, or compliment a day of climbing in the park. The Single Summit Uplift pass will also give you access to our full wilderness trail ride, which combines the trails: Skyline > Pandani > Vista > Middle Earth > Outer Limits.
Mountain Passes are required for every rider at MBP. These can be purchased when booking your uplifts online.

FAQ’s
Do I have to book in advance or can I just show up on the day?
Whilst not compulsory we highly recommend booking in advance to avoid missing out. As we cater our uplift to demand, even during off-peak periods we often sell out! We cannot stress this enough turning away riders sucks…to avoid the disappointment of not riding the Summit Uplift bookings are essential. A walk-in on-the-day booking fee of $5 also applies.
I ride mostly beginner green trails, should I get a Summit Uplift pass?
We recommend beginner riders only ride the uplift to Midline, or purchase passes on our new Lower Mountain Uplift as the only trail from the Summit is an intermediate-level trail. If this is your first time riding our park as a beginner we strongly suggest our Lower Mountain Uplift as the amount descending from Midline can still be a lot for beginners. If you’ve ridden our Lower Mountain Uplift a few times and are confident on our Lower Mountain green trails then our Summit Uplift to Midline is a great option to ride some new slightly harder and longer trails.
Can I get a Half-Day Uplift pass for the morning rather than the afternoon?
Unfortunately due to the nature of how our uplift service works, this is not an option we provide. If you would like to ride for just the morning suggest checking out our Lower Mountain Uplift.
Does the Summit Uplift include a Mountain Pass?
Our Summit Uplift, Half Day and Extended Play Passes do not include a Mountain Pass and must be purchased separately online for each rider. The Mountain Pass gives you access to the whole network when using our Uplift service including climbing trail for the inclusive days. Single Summit, Single Midline Passes and Lower Mountain Uplifts must also have a valid Mountain Pass purchased.
Do I need to purchase a Mountain Pass when using the Summit or Lower Mountain Uplift?
Yes, all users of Maydena Bike Park must hold an active Mountain Pass available in 1-Day, 7-Day or Annual options. If you purchase an Annual Mountain Pass before June 30, 2026, you’ll score 1 x FREE 1-Day Summit Uplift Pass*
*Redeemable via Guest Services within 3 months of your Birthday
Do I need to purchase a Mountain Pass for my child?
Yes, children 15 and under require a 1-Day, 7-Day or Annual Mountain Pass to ride at Maydena and can be purchased on our Mountain Pass Page. Children 5 and Under are $0 and can be purchased at Guest Services.
How many laps can I fit in a day if it’s unlimited?
This is highly dependent on your fitness level. Our hill is larger than you’d expect, with 820m of vertical elevation, our uplift takes approx 25 mins and it can take anywhere from 15 mins to 45 mins to ride down depending on what trail you ride. Most people find 4 – 5 laps in a day “a good day’s riding” however we’ve known some to do 8+, you do the math that’s a lot of descending!
What time is the first and last uplift?
Our regular uplifts start at 9:30 am (Spring, Summer) / 9:00 am (Autumn) and if you’re in the queue by 4 pm (Spring, Summer) / 3:30 pm (Autumn) we’ll get you up for your last lap. During the summer months, we also offer our Summer Sessions Extended Play for uplifts from 4 pm till 6:30 pm. See our operating hours.
Can I drive my own uplifts?
Our uplift road is leased to us by a private company and is used by a range of other service providers. Our lease conditions mandate that there is strictly no private vehicles to use our uplift road.
Does the Summit Uplift include Lower Mountain Uplifts?
Short answer no. The Lower Mountain Uplift is designed to be a completely separate product. The Lower Mountain Uplift is charged per lap, which means you only pay for what you use. Single runs and multi-lap punch passes can be purchased on-site starting at $12 per run. Learn more HERE
