IN VENUE TICKETS
A 2027 Beyond Gravity Spectator Pass will provide individuals walking access to the Beyond Gravity course at Maydena Bike Park, spectator areas, the event expo, beer garden, food trucks and live music. Available as a 2-day Pass, Race Day Only or VIP 2-Day Pass.
2-DAY-PASS
Beyond Gravity will deliver a world-class in venue experience, with 2-day spectator access to the complete race-course, including all key features. Beyond the racing, ticket holders have access to a massive expo area, brand activations, athlete signings, live music, and multiple food and beverage outlets across the venue.
RACE-DAY-PASS
Join us for race day as the world’s top downhill racers take on one of the wildest downhill race courses in the world. Ticket includes access to the full race course, finish bowl, expo, and live music events.
VIP 2-DAY PASS
The ultimate Beyond Gravity experience! Join us in an elevated private VIP area, right beside the finish line, with catering, private bar, and toilet. VIP tickets include catering each day, and four drink vouchers per day.
GETTING HERE
The primary method for event access will be by car, accessing the Maydena town via Gordon River Rd. Bus shuttles from Hobart are available daily on Friday, February 26th and Saturday, February 27th. Transport options can be purchased with your tickets.
PARKING
- Event parking will be available in Hydro St, on the right hand side before you reach the entrance to Maydena Bike Park.
- Car parking will be monitored by Maydena Bike Park staff
- Parking is for day use only, no overnight camping will be permitted
With the influx of visitors to Maydena Bike Park expect parking to be a little more challenging.

Beyond Gravity is driven by a desire to blaze a new path, building an event that places athletes front and centre – aligning athlete performance with the financial performance of the event. In the past, events have relied on multi-national companies for their viability, which comes with significant compromises and controls. Beyond Gravity is fiercely independent, and free from external influence – we will work with our athlete group to build something special together.

FINISH BOWL FESTIVAL

Security will be performing bag searches at entrance gates so please be prepared for this when you arrive.
Any prohibited items found at the gates will be confiscated; perishables will be disposed of and other equipment/items will need to be returned to a safe location prior to entry.
We are unable to provide any storage for confiscated items throughout the event.

FAQ’s
Do I need to bring my ticket with me?
Your booking confirmation was sent to you via email at the time of purchase. We recommend adding your tickets to your phone’s digital wallet using the link in your confirmation email. Alternatively, you can download a PDF copy of your pass by clicking the “Print Tickets” button. Please ensure everyone included in the booking is present when collecting your tickets.
What is the age cut off for a Childs ticket?
Child passes are available for ages 15 and under.
What does my ticket get me?
Your ticket will give you entry for the day stated only i.e 2-day Spectator for Friday & Saturday or 1-day for Saturday only.
What should I wear to the event?
- Be prepared for changing weather conditions so pack everything from waterproofs to sun cream!
- The course is steep and mountainous so hiking boots or similar footwear is essential.
- Please bring a refillable water bottle that you can use at the water stations on site to keep you hydrated throughout the day.
What can't I bring?

Is there parking available at the event?
Yes, there will be parking available in Maydena a short walk to the event. More details will be available closer to the event.
What parts of the track am I able to see?
Spectators will have full access to course spectating (pending weather or other operational changes). A full course map will one available soon.
When do the Pay-Per-View digital passes release?

Can I bring my dog?
As much as we love dogs, they are not permitted on site for the safety of the riders and spectators (with the exception of service dogs).
Can I ride the bike park on event days Friday (Feb 26th) or Saturday (Feb 27th)?
Uplifts or Pedal in options will not be running on Seeding (Feb 26th) & Racing (Feb 27th) days. Regular riding / Uplifts returns Sunday Feb 28th.
Can I bring alcohol with me?
No. Alcohol is not permitted unless it has been purchased within the event site. Any alcohol found during bag searches at entrance gates will be confiscated and anyone found to have alcohol on their person that was brought into site will be at risk of being asked to leave the event.
What time can I arrive? What’s the latest I can arrive?
Gates open 8:00am on Friday & Saturday. Practice and race times differ each day and are subject to change; please check the event schedule section closer to the event date. Gates close daily at 1:30pm in readiness for the event start at 2:00pm.
Am I able to bring food/drink with me? Are picnics allowed?
Small food items will be allowed to be brought on to site, but excessive amounts of food/drink in extra-large containers, and any cooking equipment/appliances such as barbecues, temporary structures etc will not be permitted. Please note: no glass is allowed to be brought onto site.
Is there food and drink available to purchase on site?
- The Maydena Bike Park Cafe will be open from 8:00am – 8:00pm for the duration of the event, featuring its renowned quality of pizzas, salads, bowls and sando’s.
- Multiple bars will be available at the park base and on the course, so you can experience the very best Tasmanian beer, cider, and mixed drinks.
- During the event week, multiple food trucks will be available in the event village.
I am from a media publication can I get accreditation?
If you are a working media personnel from a publication looking to cover Beyond Gravity in the press, please ensure media accreditation is requested before arrival on site. Applications are available via the link in the resources section at the bottom of this page.
Can I access the Beyond Gravity outside the Seeding and Race Days?
No. Spectating is only allowed on the Seeding and Race Days. Access to the course for spectators is prohibited outside these times. If you are found on the course during practice or course walk you will be kindly asked to leave.
